Its systems underpin complex, growing programmes, making software quality, reliability and resilience central to the work. You'll be the voice of quality within a Scrum team. This is a hands-on role: you'll shape test plans, design and run tests, develop automation, investigate defects and help engineers build quality into delivery. You'll also mentor other QA engineers and work with a Principal QA Engineer to improve the automation framework. The role includes: * Designing test strategies and cases from requirements and user stories. * Building and maintaining automated tests, with a focus on useful coverage and reliable regression testing. * Integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and working closely with developers to resolve defects. * Testing beyond the expected user journey, including edge cases, performance and other non-functional requirements. * Managing test data, environments and clear documentation. * Coaching colleagues and sharing practical testing approaches across the team.
