We are hiring a Software Development Engineer to build cloud services that keep the fleet humming. In this role, you will build the cloud foundation and applications that connect robots to customer experiences and internal operations as we scale. The ideal candidate has built distributed systems that connect physical devices to cloud services end to end. They are comfortable building and operating the services they own from prototyping through launch and beyond. They make sound architectural tradeoffs across privacy, security, reliability, delivery speed, and cost when requirements are still evolving. They work effectively across robotics, product, and operations teams while remaining hands-on in design and implementation., * Build and own the cloud services that connect a growing fleet of robots to customer experiences and internal operations * Build operational telemetry ingestion pipelines that process high-frequency robot signals * Select technologies where the stack is undefined, document the decisions, and set patterns for a growing team * Join the on-call rotation for the services you own and drive incident response * Work with science, engineering, and product teams to define requirements and operationalize new workflows
