* Bachelor's degree in engineering (university of applied sciences/technical university) with a major in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
 * Extensive professional experience in the field
 * Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite
 * Extensive, very good knowledge of SAP PLM (product data management)
 * CAD skills
 * Good knowledge of hardware and software development
 * Fluent in spoken and written English and German

## Description

* Conducting basic data verification, approval, and modification for mechanical, electrical, electronic, and intangible third-party parts in the SAP-PLM material master data management system
 * Interpreting data sheets-primarily in English and German-through independent research and plausibility checks
 * Entering and maintaining international manufacturer addresses, including assignment of NATO CAGE codes
 * Electronic entry, storage, and long-term archiving of manufacturer data sheets in IXOS
 * Collaborating (as a substitute) on the electronic management, storage, archiving, and distribution of design documentation in SAP-PLM (including SAPCAD integration) and IXOS
 * Resolution of errors in automated processes (IXOS)
 * Participation in system specifications, testing, and acceptance procedures within the scope of design data management using SAP (knowledge of Rational databases and hardware and software development is a plus)
 * Implementation of the core components of obsolescence management in SAP-PLM, taking into account obsolescence management in coordination with the project or product obsolescence manager
 * Conducting obsolescence checks on defined components within existing product structures and providing obsolescence information in the MAT portal
