## About the Role

* Education: Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Computer Science, or a related field with GIS experience.

 * GIS & Development Experience: 4-8 years overall GIS and application development experience (minimum 6 years direct experience requested).
\n

 * Web Application Design: At least 5 years designing, building, and deploying web mapping applications.
\n

 * ESRI Suite Expertise: High proficiency with ArcGIS Pro (3.x+), ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Enterprise (Server, Portal, Web Adaptors, Data Stores).
\n

 * Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Python.
\n

 * Communication & Autonomy: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and written/verbal communication skills; proven ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders and work independently with minimal supervision.
\n, * Database & Querying: Proficiency with data extraction and scripting using Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL.
\n

 * Linear Referencing: Experience with ESRI Roads & Highways or comparable Linear Referencing Systems (LRS).
\n

 * Business Intelligence: Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.

 * Analyze, validate, and maintain GIS data for core transportation maintenance assets.
\n

 * Design, build, and maintain web-based GIS applications using ESRI solutions (such as ArcGIS API for JavaScript).
\n

 * Perform complex spatial analysis and create multi-layered maps and specialized tools.
\n

 * Serve as a technical liaison between IT departments, asset management system administrators, and non-technical end users.
\n

 * Support Linear Referencing Systems (LRS) and integrate spatial data with enterprise asset management platforms.
