## About the Role

You'll take full ownership of assigned test activities, work with greater autonomy than earlier-career engineers, and begin mentoring junior staff as you build toward broader technical leadership. **What you'll do:** **Design & Execute Tests** + Design, develop, and document test programs to measure the functionality and integrity of products and systems + Write test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and verify performance against specifications + Debug test hardware and software independently, resolving issues to keep programs on schedule + Use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software as needed **Own Technical Delivery** + Independently complete assigned technical tasks and projects on time and within budget + Design, develop, analyze, and document products, systems, or subsystems + Review customer specifications and requirements, and develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable + Build prototypes to retire
key development risks + Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services + Support design-to-cost and design-for-manufacture requirements + Provide budget, cost, and schedule input for design and test assignments **What you'll do continued:** **Collaborate & Mentor** + Communicate clearly, in writing and verbally, with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and the customer + Provide technical knowledge and assistance to less-experienced engineers and support personnel + Participate in preparation of moderately complex proposals + Attend engineering, customer, and business meetings as required + Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values, and culture of the organization **What you bring:** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) + 5+ years of relevant engineering/test experience + Strong technical expertise and application domain knowledge + Proven ability to work independently and
