 * Alteryx experience is a significant plus for data transformation workflows

## Description

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their SQL DBA position! This is an 18+ month contract with potential to convert and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

 * Lead data cleanup and remediation efforts for an enterprise-wide risk management database transformation initiative
 * Build and implement robust database structures to support a new cloud-based risk management data product
 * Support the migration of on-premises SQL Server environments to Azure or Snowflake cloud platforms
 * Design and develop large-scale application data schemas optimized for reporting and analytics purposes
 * Execute database engineering tasks including data transformation, structure optimization, and quality assurance
 * Implement slowly changing dimension methodologies to track trends and historical data changes
 * Partner with architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical database solutions
