## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

 * Experience integrating and troubleshooting complex hardware, software, or embedded systems.

 * Working knowledge of C++ and Python.

 * Understanding of electronics, sensors, embedded systems, and IP networking.

 * Ability to read schematics, datasheets, technical drawings, and system documentation.

 * Strong hands-on troubleshooting and cross-functional problem-solving skills.

 * Interest in expanding into adjacent engineering disciplines such as hardware, mechanical systems, or mechatronics.

 * Ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Skills:

 * Computer Engineers interested in expanding into hardware, electronics, sensing, and physical system integration.

 * Electrical Engineers interested in growing into mechanical systems, mechatronics, robotics, and broader system integration.

 * Mechatronics Engineers comfortable working across electrical, mechanical, embedded software, sensing, and automation., * Experience with robotics, computer vision, machine learning, PCB integration, embedded Linux, networking, or industrial automation is a plus., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

## Description

Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer to work on a 6+ month contract position with potential for extension in Atlanta, GA (Midtown). This role requires up to 50% travel, with approved travel expenses reimbursed.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60-$70/hr W-2 plus approved travel expenses

Responsibilities:

 * Design and integrate systems spanning electrical, embedded, software, networking, sensing, AI, and field infrastructure.

 * Develop and troubleshoot C++ and Python software, embedded computing platforms, hardware/software interfaces, and diagnostic tools.

 * Integrate cameras, sensors, optics, lighting, PCBs, edge-computing platforms, servers, networks, and computer vision solutions.

 * Deploy, test, commission, and troubleshoot systems in lab and field environments, isolating issues across hardware, software, networking, sensing, and data.

 * Collaborate with engineering, software, data science, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and field teams to deliver reliable end-to-end systems.
