## About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Lead AWS Platform Engineer to design, build, secure, and manage enterprise-scale AWS cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS infrastructure provisioning, cloud security, networking, automation, governance, and platform engineering. This role involves leading cloud transformation initiatives, establishing cloud best practices, and enabling development teams through secure, scalable, and automated cloud services. The Lead AWS Platform Engineer will collaborate with architects, security teams, DevOps engineers, and application teams to deliver highly available, secure, and compliant cloud environments.
Mandatory Areas:

 * 8+ years of experience in AWS.
 * 3+ years of experience in CDK, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
 * 4+ years of experience in CI/CD with enterprise pipeline setup., * 6 to 7 years of IT infrastructure/platform engineering experience.
 * 5+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience in enterprise environments.
 * Strong expertise in AWS networking, security, and infrastructure services.
 * Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
 * Experience managing multi-account AWS environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
 * Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
 * Experience with container platforms such as EKS and Docker.
 * Hands-on experience implementing cloud security frameworks and controls.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain enterprise AWS cloud platforms.

 * Implement CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure deployments.

 * Implement AWS security services including AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, IAM Identity Center (SSO), WAF, Shield, KMS, and Secrets Manager.
