## About the Role

* Microsoft security technologies (Defender for Endpoint, Sentinel, Entra ID, Intune)
 * Strong knowledge of Windows and server infrastructure, networking, authentication and endpoint security
 * Experience with risk, compliance and security governance processes
 * Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell preferred)
 * Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * Knowledge of authentication and passkey technologies is advantageous

## Description

We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with Defender for Endpoint implementation and service engineering experience to join a delivery and service engineering team. You will ensure technology is engineered, changed and operated securely, embedding security into new and existing systems, validating controls and supporting secure-by-design delivery., * Analyse technical requirements with application owners and vendors

 * Assess security exception requests and validate risk impacts of configuration changes
 * Propose security configurations and develop solutions with product owners and vendors
 * Submit recommendations to Heads of Cyber for approval
