## About the Role

* 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
 * Strong proficiency in DAX, including measures, calculated columns, time intelligence, and advanced analytical functions.
 * Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and Star Schema design principles.
 * Experience connecting Power BI to Azure Databricks, Data Lakehouse, or modern cloud data platforms.
 * Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
 * Experience with Power BI Service, including workspaces, deployment pipelines, scheduled refreshes, and security management.
 * Ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting and visualization solutions.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience developing Power BI Paginated Reports.
 * Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, and OneLake concepts.
 * Experience with Power BI REST APIs, XMLA endpoints, and dataset administration.
 * Experience with Git-based version control and Azure DevOps integration for Power BI projects.
 * Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and reporting best practices.
 * Exposure to insurance, financial services, or enterprise data analytics environments is a plus.
