## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer - Azure to design, implement, secure, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Azure architecture, infrastructure automation, networking, security, and DevOps experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry., * 5+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.

 * Strong knowledge of Azure compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
 * Hands-on experience with Azure VMs, AKS, App Services, VNets, NSGs, VPN, and ExpressRoute.
 * Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
 * Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
 * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
 * Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
 * Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and governance.
 * Experience with cloud migration, disaster recovery, high availability, and infrastructure optimization.
 * Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills., * Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
 * Microsoft Azure certifications: AZ-305, AZ-104, or AZ-400.
 * Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
 * Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
 * Experience with enterprise-scale cloud transformation and hybrid infrastructure.

## Description

* Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient Microsoft Azure cloud architectures.
 * Lead cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
 * Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Storage, and Networking.
 * Design high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
 * Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
 * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
 * Design and manage Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.
 * Implement cloud security using Azure AD/Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.
 * Monitor and optimize cloud performance, availability, reliability, and costs.
 * Implement cloud governance, access controls, compliance standards, and security best practices.
 * Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
