## About the Role

* Professional software engineering experience with hands-on development of production applications
 * Hands-on experience building and shipping production Generative AI, AI-powered applications, agents, or workflows
 * Strong Python development experience
 * Full-stack software engineering experience, including backend services and user-facing applications
 * Experience with React or another modern frontend framework
 * Experience developing REST APIs and integrating enterprise systems and data
 * Hands-on AWS experience building, deploying, and operating production workloads
 * Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code technologies
 * Experience with GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD technologies
 * Experience with SQL and enterprise data integration
 * Understanding of AI agents, workflows, tool use, orchestration, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop patterns
 * Experience operating and supporting software in production
 * Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate directly with both technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Experience

 * Machine learning, model fine-tuning, or applied AI
 * AI agent frameworks such as PydanticAI or comparable technologies
 * AI observability, AI Ops, or LLMOps
 * Graph databases such as Neo4j
 * Enterprise architecture, security, governance, or compliance requirements
 * Insurance, claims, healthcare, or other regulated operational environments
 * Experience working directly with end users to translate business processes into software solutions
 * Experience collaborating with external or vendor engineering teams

## Description

* Build user-facing applications using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or comparable technologies
 * Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and existing systems
 * Develop AI workflows involving orchestration, tool use, state management, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop processes
 * Build and operate cloud-based solutions in AWS
 * Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform
 * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
 * Implement authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, observability, and error handling for production systems
 * Evaluate AI systems for correctness, reliability, performance, and failure modes
 * Work directly with business and operational stakeholders to understand real-world processes and translate them into practical engineering solutions
 * Collaborate with engineering, data, platform, security, and vendor teams
 * Troubleshoot and optimize production AI solutions for reliability, latency, throughput, cost, and performance
 * Contribute to shared AI capabilities and enterprise engineering standards
