## About the Role

* At least 3 years of experience building and shipping full-stack products, with a strong backend foundation and product engineering mindset.
 * Experience building AI agents or similar AI systems, ideally with AI or machine learning systems in production.
 * Ability to own product decisions and deliver end-to-end work with both product and platform considerations.
 * Strong technical fundamentals, with experience at an established company or an early-stage startup; startup experience can be an alternative to a traditional academic background.
 * Insurance or financial services experience is helpful.
 * Comfort working independently and contributing across a broad engineering scope.

## Description

Join a small, product-focused team as its first full-time engineering hire. You will help shape the technical direction of an early-stage insurance technology company, building AI agent systems and product capabilities that address meaningful customer needs., * Own full-stack development across backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.

 * Partner with the founding team on product decisions, balancing technical feasibility with user needs.
