## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
 * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
 * Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL
 * Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions
 * Strong knowledge of SQL (DDL, DML, DCL)
 * Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms
 * Proficiency in Linux
 * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
 * English language proficiency at B2 level or higher A plus if:
 * Experience in scripting, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Bash/Python)
 * Team management experience
 * Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix

## Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing RDBMS and NoSQL solutions, optimizing performance, implementing replication and high availability, and providing support to development teams., * Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions

 * Ensure database performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery across environments deployed on bare-metal servers and virtual machines
 * Implement and manage replication сhains, partitioning / sharding, backups
 * Assist development teams in creating, optimizing, and problem solving with RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
 * Troubleshooting
 * Drive automation using Terraform, Puppet, and custom tooling for infrastructure and database lifecycle management
