## About the Role

Give manufacturing leadership the accurate product cost data they rely on, while handling a broad mix of accounting functions.
Must-Haves

 * Manufacturing cost accounting experience
 * SAP experience
 * Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
 * Experience with standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
 * Experience with AP, AR, and GL functions, * Bachelor's degree in Accounting
 * CPA or CMA
 * Experience in a smaller manufacturing finance team

## Description

* Maintain accurate product costing and inventory valuation
 * Set standard costs for manufactured products
 * Analyze monthly manufacturing costs, variances, and absorption
 * Process AP invoices with GL coding and identify cost savings
 * Process sales invoices and AR cash applications
 * Complete monthly GL reconciliations for accruals, prepaids, and bank accounts
 * Prepare journal entries and support month-end close
 * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit preparation
