## About the Role

* 5+ years' proven experience in a Full Stack Engineering role, with advanced skills in .NET, Java or Python, plus modern JavaScript libraries.
 * Experience taking ownership of delivery for services or significant components across the full lifecycle from design to operation.
 * Strong understanding of architectural and design patterns, including serverless and microservices, with the ability to lead and assure their application.
 * Experience working in Agile environments, using Scrum, Kanban and test-driven development (TDD), and contributing to delivery planning and estimation.
 * Experience mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers, providing guidance and enabling high quality, efficient delivery.

It would be great if you also have

 * Experience working in a consultancy environment, engaging with external stakeholders and clients.
 * Exposure to public sector projects and delivering solutions in complex organisational landscapes.

## Description

* Own delivery of services: Take responsibility for the engineering and delivery of small-to-medium services (or major components of larger services) across the full lifecycle, from design and build through to deployment, operation and continual improvement.
 * Lead on architecture and design: Take ownership of the end-to-end design of components or services, producing and maintaining high-quality documentation.
 * Support delivery planning: Partner with Delivery Managers to plan and structure technical activities, provide accurate and commercially sound estimates, and proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, issues and dependencies.
 * Build stakeholder trust: Act as a trusted technical advisor to client counterparts, partner organisations and third parties, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
