## About the Role

* Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph is required.
 * No degree required; 8+ years of relevant experience required.

 * Minimum 8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
 * Experience across the software development lifecycle including design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance.
 * DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification (Security+ or higher)

 * One of the following certifications is required:
o AWS Certified Developer - Associate
o AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional
o Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
o Elastic Certified Engineer

## Description

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support a mission-critical enterprise service delivering software security solutions across customer enclaves. This role supports a cloud-based platform leveraging microservices and containerized technologies to enable secure, scalable, and resilient operations.

The engineer will work within a collaborative team environment, partnering with cross-agency stakeholders to design, develop, and sustain enterprise software capabilities in support of national security missions.

What You'll Do:

 * Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based software solutions
 * Support full lifecycle software engineering including design, integration, testing, and sustainment
 * Contribute to architecture and design reviews
 * Troubleshoot and resolve software and system issues
 * Support system enhancements, performance optimization, and reliability improvements
 * Collaborate with team members to review and refine software components
 * Assist in shaping technical approaches, timelines, and project scope
