## About the Role

* Strong experience in data engineering, including ETL/ELT, data pipelines and modern cloud data platforms
 * Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, Kimball principles and data architecture
 * Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills, including query development, optimisation and troubleshooting
 * Strong Python, PySpark or similar programming skills for data manipulation and automation
 * Experience integrating data from APIs, databases, files and other sources
 * Experience with data quality, pipeline monitoring and troubleshooting
 * Experience working with CI/CD, source control and DevOps practices
 * Experience developing and maintaining semantic models using Power BI, SSAS or similar
 * Hands-on experience with modern BI tools, preferably Power BI
 * Experience working in an Agile development environment

This is a key role in the Business responsible for the delivery and development of the organisation wide BI infrastructure, bringing together data from our core systems to provide a single view of the business and its strategic partners.
