## About the Role

* Commercial software development experience, with strong capability in one or more of C++, C# and Python.
 * Practical experience developing computer vision, machine learning or image-processing solutions.
 * An understanding of model training, validation and evaluation.
 * The ability to write maintainable code and apply sound testing and debugging practices.
 * Experience integrating algorithms or models into usable software.
 * Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate complex technical problems.
 * Clear communication and a collaborative approach.

Desirable Experience

 * Experience working across C++, C# and Python.
 * Familiarity with OpenCV and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
 * Object detection, image classification, segmentation or visual inspection applications.
 * Real-time processing, GPU acceleration or deployment to edge devices.
 * Model optimisation and inference tools, such as ONNX or TensorRT.
 * Experience working with cameras, video streams or hardware interfaces.
 * Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and AI-assisted coding tools.

 * Develop, evaluate and improve machine vision models and image-processing algorithms.
 * Prepare and validate image datasets for model training and testing.
 * Integrate AI models into software applications and processing pipelines.
 * Investigate model accuracy, inference speed, memory usage and application performance.
 * Develop automated tests for software components and AI functionality.
 * Diagnose issues involving image quality, model behaviour and software integration.
