## About the Role

You'll be a confident technical professional with a strong understanding of metal roofing systems, particularly standing seam, and experience working within a construction-focused environment.
Essential skills and experience:

 * Familiarity with CDM 2015 and designer responsibilities

## Description

A well-established and growing specialist within the UK construction and building-envelope sector is seeking an experienced Product Support Manager to join its technical team, focusing on metal roofing systems for commercial and industrial projects.
This is a key technical role, supporting projects from early design through to completion, working closely with sales teams, contractors, and external partners to deliver compliant, high-quality roofing solutions.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical support of metal roofing products and systems, providing expert input across specification, design, and on-site delivery. The role combines office-based technical work with regular site visits and customer interaction., * Producing and approving bespoke metal roofing specifications

 * Carrying out thermal calculations and ensuring compliance with building regulations
 * Creating technical drawings and details using AutoCAD
 * Providing technical support to sales teams, contractors, and customers
 * Attending site visits during planning, installation, and post-completion stages
 * Assisting with project management from enquiry through to completion
 * Liaising with third-party suppliers and service providers
 * Maintaining technical resources such as drawings, data sheets, certifications, BIM content, and specifications
 * Delivering technical and installation training to internal teams and external partners
 * Advising marketing teams on technical content where required
