## About the Role

* 2+ years of overall technical operations experience
 * 2+ years of software engineering experience
 * Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems, networking, architecture, and core web

technologies (such as DNS, Routing, TCP/IP, SSH, VPN, and Load Balancing)

 * Experience managing cloud infrastructure and and access (AWS preferred)
 * Strong scripting abilities in Bash and Python
 * Experience with Configuration Management tools (Ansible preferred)
 * Comfortable with git or similar version control
 * Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools and best practices
 * Experience running and maintaining real-world build systems (Jenkins preferred)
 * Experience with micro services or service-oriented architecture
 * Team player with excellent communication skills

Additional desirable skills and experience include:

 * Highly developed communication skills (verbal, written & presentation)
 * C++ programming experience
 * Exposure to running a large-scale 24/7 production environment
 * Exposure to Security and Testing frameworks
