## About the Role

* Good understanding of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principles
 * Proficient in AutoCAD, Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor
 * Track record in managing multiple projects at once
 * Strong decision making and communication skills
 * Over 5 years experience working as a Design Engineer within a manufacturing or engineering environment

## Description

A manufacturing client located in Clacton-On-Sea are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer to join their growing team., As a Design Engineer, you will be required to manage multiple projects from concept through to completion., * You will be required to lead and manage project priorities and deliverables

 * Liaise with the engineering, project, buying and manufacturing teams internally, throughout the project lifecycle
 * Provide technical guidance, coaching and drawing reviews for junior designers
 * Look at continuous improvement methods where possible
 * DfMA (Design for Manufacture & Assembly) across all projects
 * Develop automated design tool models, whilst also revisiting existing design applications
