You'll bring an understanding of software engineering best practices and experience delivering secure, reliable solutions within Agile environments. Experience working in the public sector or similarly regulated environments will be important, alongside a collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to technical excellence. You should have: * Java & Spring Boot: Proven experience developing, testing and maintaining enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. * AWS Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with AWS services and developing scalable, cloud-native applications. * Database Technologies: Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, including database development, integration and optimisation. * Microservices & APIs: Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures. * Software Engineering Practices: Strong understanding of automated testing, code quality, secure development and maintainable software design. * Agile Delivery: Experience working within Scrum, Kanban or similar Agile delivery frameworks. * Public Sector Experience: Experience delivering technology solutions within the UK public sector or other highly regulated environments. * Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders. * Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to balance technical quality, business requirements and delivery timelines.
