## About the Role

* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (acceptable to this customer)
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
 * Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years), and possessing:
 + Experience performing schema updates
 + Significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queries
 + Significant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work
 + Significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization
 * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list)
 * Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not Javascript or Springboot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment

What Would be Nice to Have

 * Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services
 * Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB
