We apply new technologies that can address the Government's most challenging Systems Engineering problems. This is an opportunity for experienced platform engineers who are highly motivated, innovative, and proactive and interested in owning and maintaining their work to enable the rest of MITRE and sponsors., * Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience. * Strong experience with Windows systems engineering (primary requirement) * Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server/Windows client. * Working knowledge of infrastructure domains (networking, virtualization, storage, security) * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently * PowerShell/scripting or other automation experience. * Experience working across multiple teams * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple workstreams with attention to detail * Must be able to lift 50 lbs * Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S Government issued Security Clearance. Per the U.S. Government's eligibility requirements, you must be a U.S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance. * This position requires a minimum of 3 days a week on-site. The engineer will support customer onboarding, solution scoping, and delivery of compute environments aligned with security and compliance requirements. This is a high-impact role requiring both technical depth and clear communication with customers and internal teams.
