## Description

Während des dualen Studiums Wirtschaftsinformatik - International Management for Business and Information Technology (IMBIT) erhalten Studierende praxisnahe Einblicke in den Arbeitsalltag eines Wirtschaftsinformatikers (m/w/d) im internationalen und digital geprägten Unternehmensumfeld.

In den Praxisphasen erfolgt der Einsatz unter anderem in Bereichen wie IT-Architekturen und -Infrastrukturen, Controlling, Rechnungswesen, Marketing und Logistik. Im Fokus stehen die Analyse, Gestaltung und Optimierung IT-gestützter Geschäftsprozesse, die Mitarbeit an internationalen IT- und Digitalisierungsprojekten sowie die Schnittstelle zwischen Fachbereich und IT.

Die Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) Stuttgart vermittelt das notwendige theoretische Know-how. Im Fokus der Vorlesungen stehen unter anderem:

Grundlagen der Informationstechnik
Betriebs- und Volkswirtschaftslehre
Controlling und Finanzen
Materialwirtschaft und Logistik
Geschäftsprozessmodellierung
Projektmanagement
Datenbank-Design
