## About the Role

* Clearance Required: Top Secret
 + Secret required to start
 * IAT Level 2 or higher certification (Examples of minimum acceptable certifications-CCNA Security, CySA+, G SEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)
 * 3-year minimum experience with networking device configuration and support
 * 3-year minimum experience with IP networking design
 * 3-year minimum experience with virtual server environments
 * Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance practices, including Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)
 * Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace.
 * Must be able to follow defined and documented customer processes and policies, and perform tasking where there may be documentation gaps
 * Experience working with network infrastructure devices and protocols, and proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain solutions supporting high-availability network infrastructures.
 * Must be highly motivated and will be required to respond to and provide resolutions to problems on a timely basis.
 * Experience with planning, configuring, managing, monitoring and troubleshooting of a variety of network systems.

Desired Skills & Experience:

 * Experience with Linux is a plus
 * Ability to be a self-starter and have the initiative to learn more advanced operations and technologies

## Description

As the Network Administrator, you will join a team of highly-driven, supportive, and skilled professionals engaged in supporting program management, technical, or business case analysis across the NAVAIR community., * Manage and administer all network devices including deployment of new technologies

 * Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and application-level connectivity and performance problems
 * Maintain network boundary security
 * Participate in network security incident investigations
 * Perform audit reviews of STIG standards and STIG updates of assigned devices
 * Perform reviews of vulnerabilities and perform remediation planning and execution
 * Maintain documentation including work instructions, SOPs, processes and desk guides
 * Other tasks as assigned by customer POCs, Team Lead, and Management team
