## About the Role

1. Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years)
Performing schema updates
Possessing significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene querie
Possessing significant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards wor
Possessing significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization

 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list.
 3. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not Javascript or Springboot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment.
 4. College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Optional
Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services.
Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB.
