## About the Role

* Experience in Distributed System development using Java/J2EE/Web Technologies.
 * Proficiency with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.

 * Experience working on high-volume applications and with server-side frameworks like Spring MVC.
 * Experience building restful web services and a good understanding of SOAP web services with XML and JSON.
 * Working knowledge of front-end technologies like Handlebars, Vue, and ReactJS.
 * Familiarity with XML and JSON binding libraries (JAXB, Jackson, Gson).
 * Experience with unit testing using JUnit.
 * Proficiency with Git, Maven, Artifactory, and an IDE such as Eclipse.
 * Experience with Git distributed version control, including branching and merge strategies, and Bitbucket.
 * Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
 * Familiarity with MQ (Websphere MQ or ActiveMQ) and experience in performance tuning with an understanding of JVM internals.
 * Experience with Groovy, object-oriented programming concepts, and Java design patterns.
 * Experience with defensive programming, application security, and working with GitHub Copilot or other coding agents/LLMs., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
 * 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.

## Description

We are seeking an individual contributor responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. This role ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. The position involves coding solutions, creating unit tests, and ensuring successful integration into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces., * Code solutions and unit tests to deliver requirements per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance standards.

 * Utilize multiple architectural components (data, application, business) in the design and development of client requirements.
 * Ensure software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
 * Contribute to story refinement and the definition of requirements.
 * Participate in and guide the team in estimating work necessary to realize a story or requirement through its delivery lifecycle.
 * Assist the team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
 * Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance); analyze test reports, identify test issues, and triage the underlying cause.
 * Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
