## About the Role

* 5+ years of hands-on experience in database design, administration, and optimization for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or SAP HANA
 * Familiarity with database design principles, data loading techniques, backup and recovery solutions, performance monitoring and tuning, database maintenance, and security
 * Scripting skills in SQL and Python for automation and data workflows
 * Exposure to geospatial concepts such as spatial data types, coordinate systems, and spatial indexing
 * Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to technical peers and non-technical project managers or customers
 * US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
 * Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or related STEM field

Recommended Qualifications

 * Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise geodatabases
 * Knowledge of integrating GIS with other enterprise systems
 * CompTIA Security + certification
 * One or more industry-standard IT certifications (such as Esri, Microsoft, Amazon, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
 * Master`s degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or related STEM field
