## Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior ETL Migration Engineer to support a federal modernization program focused on migrating large-scale legacy data environments into secure cloud platforms. This position is on-site in Huntsville, AL. The Senior ETL Migration Engineer will lead the design, execution, optimization, and validation of enterprise-scale ETL pipelines supporting mission-critical data migration operations. Join a high-impact team driving the successful modernization of critical national security systems through scalable, secure, and reliable data migration solutions.
Responsibilities for the Senior ETL Migration Engineer include:

 * Lead the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines supporting petabyte-scale data migration initiatives.
 * Develop extraction, transformation, and ingestion processes for structured and unstructured data from legacy systems into cloud environments.
 * Troubleshoot pipeline failures, resolve data anomalies, conduct root cause analysis, and improve overall migration performance and reliability.
 * Perform data quality assessments, validation testing, governance reviews, and completeness checks to ensure migration accuracy.
 * Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, DevSecOps teams, DBAs, QA/Test Engineers, and Product Owners to support migration planning, integration, and operational readiness.
