## Description

SAAB is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and support advanced defense and manufacturing systems across air, land, and naval domains. In this role, you will define requirements, develop architectures, and perform integration, verification, and validation of complex hardware-software systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global, mission-driven environment, ensuring safety, reliability, and cybersecurity. This position offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies, international projects, and continuous learning in a high-tech, innovative culture focused on long-term security., * Design, integrate, and optimize complex defense and manufacturing systems for air, land, and naval applications

 * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, production, and cyber teams to define system requirements and architectures
 * Develop models, simulations, and technical documentation to support design reviews and customer acceptance
 * Perform system verification, validation, and troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network interfaces
 * Support system safety, reliability, and cybersecurity requirements in alignment with defense and industry standards
 * Contribute to continuous improvement, configuration management, and lifecycle support of deployed systems
 * Interface with global customers and internal stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical solutions
 * Assist in test planning, execution, and data analysis for lab, factory, and field environments
