## About the Role

* Experience in Java (Core Java, OOP, Collections, exceptions, design principles).
 * Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (TestNG/JUnit, Page Object Model, robust locator strategies).
 * Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferably Playwright Java; strong understanding of browser contexts, tracing, and network mocking as needed).
 * Experience with test framework development (custom utilities, reusable components, reporting, retry, parallelism).
 * Solid understanding of automation best practices (clean code, maintainability, modular design).
 * Experience with Git and modern branching strategies.
 * Experience with CI/CD and automated test execution pipelines.
 * Understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum practices.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Java.
 * Build and execute UI automation suites using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright (cross-browser coverage).
 * Develop automated tests for:
 * Web UI (functional, regression, smoke, cross-browser)
 * API testing (REST services; functional & contract testing)
 * Integration and E2E workflows
 * Improve test reliability via:
 * smarter waits/synchronization
 * stable locators strategy
 * reducing flaky tests
 * parallel execution and test optimization
 * Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
 * Analyze failures, troubleshoot root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams on fixes.
 * Maintain test reports and dashboards (e.g., Allure/Extent, CI reports) to track quality metrics.
 * Contribute to test strategy, test data management, and quality best practices.
 * Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and quality gating.
