## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required., * Working knowledge in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, ORM, Spring Data libraries.
 * Experience of working in Oracle or SQL Server.
 * Experience & Good Understanding of Messaging frameworks like IBM MQ or Kafka.
 * Experience in Caching frameworks and FIX protocol are added advantages.
 * Good experience in SDLC, DevOps processes - CI/CD tools, Git, etc.
 * Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies and ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
 * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
 * Familiarity with one or more AI vibe-coding and coding-assist tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, etc)
 * Experience in the securities or financial services industry with focus on Equities.
 * Previous experience designing and implementing new systems and features across platforms.
 * Understanding of trade life cycles for equities.
 * Brings production support experience and can troubleshoot issues under pressure.
 * Previous experience with application profiling and debugging.
 * Strong communication and organization skills.

## Description

* 8 to 12 years of experience in software development required - proficiency in Mainframe
 * Support and maintain the legacy Order Management System (OMS) on the mainframe platform.
 * Deliver BAU enhancements, maintenance, and system updates.
 * Lead investigation, development, testing, and deployment of fixes for production issues and defects.

Provide support for internal and external audits, including documentation and compliance activities.

 * Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure system stability and timely issue resolution.
 * Utilize COBOL, JCL, DB2, MQ, Control-M, CICS, VSAM, and related mainframe technologies to support and enhance the application environment.
 * Exposure to front-end languages, libraries and frameworks (Angular, HTML/ CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, jQuery)
