## About the Role

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
5+ years of experience in security management, IT administration, or cybersecurity
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity assessments, remediation, or defensive operations
Experience with cybersecurity risk management, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance
Experience with security frameworks, governance, policies, and technical controls
Experience with secure architecture, security assessments, and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
Ability to oversee cybersecurity operations and coordinate remediation activities
Experience developing security policies, procedures, metrics, and compliance reports
Strong communication, documentation, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills
Preferred Experience:
Graduate degree in a relevant field
Experience developing cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and business cases
Cross-functional cybersecurity leadership experience
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and security frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001
Experience with centrally managed cybersecurity services and adoption tracking
Cloud security and modernization experience
Experience supporting government agencies or regulated environments
