## Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Computer Operator / NOC Operations Specialist to support enterprise computer operations in a large data-center environment.

This role is responsible for monitoring production processing, BPE/TPE transactions, network availability, environmental systems, data-center security, electrical and UPS systems, automated job schedules, and distributed servers. The selected candidate will also coordinate with vendors for hardware/software support and help ensure continuous availability of statewide systems and services.

This is a hands-on operations role requiring direct experience in a large data center or Network Operations Center environment., * Monitor BPE/TPE transactions and production-processing activity.

 * Monitor and support Network Operations Center (NOC) functions.
 * Monitor environmental systems, including:
*

 + HVAC
 + Electrical power
 + Generators
 + Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
 + Fire detection and suppression systems
 * Monitor data-center physical security and access.
 * Ensure statewide network connectivity and system availability.
 * Monitor distributed servers running AIX, Linux, and Windows.
 * Monitor and manage automated batch-processing and job scheduling.
 * Use Control-M and TPE/BPE Manager to support production operations.
 * Support production-control processes and operational scheduling.
 * Respond to system, network, hardware, and software incidents.
 * Coordinate with vendors regarding hardware/software maintenance and support contracts.
 * Follow established Change Management, Incident/Problem Management, and Asset Management policies and procedures.
 * Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery activities.
 * Monitor LAN/WAN and enterprise networking environments.
 * Ensure printed production output meets quality standards and is defect free.
 * Maintain accurate documentation and communicate operational issues appropriately.
