## About the Role

* Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT End User Support experience.
 * Proficiency in:
 + Microsoft Windows 10 & 11
 + Microsoft Office Suite
 + Printer installation and troubleshooting
 + Hardware and laptop support
 + PC imaging/building and deployment
 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 * Demonstrated professionalism and dependability in a structured workplace., * CompTIA A+ Certification (or equivalent)
 * Experience with:
 + End-user network support
 + Information security practices
 + On-site/in-person IT support
 + Microsoft Teams
 + Asset management and IT inventory tools
 + ITSM/Help Desk ticketing systems
 * Background in banking, finance, legal, judicial, or accounting environments is a plus.

## Description

Weekend Work: Occasional system update testing on weekends (typically remote, 1-2 hours as needed), Candidate Location Requirement: Candidate must be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate to South Carolina at their own expense prior to starting the role., The State of South Carolina is seeking a Computer Operator - Consultant to join the Office of the State Treasurer's IT team. This position supports IT operations and end-user services in a professional, financial/banking environment.

The selected consultant will provide both technical and customer support, ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and the ability to manage IT tasks with accuracy and attention to detail., * Provide IT customer support for end users, including assistance with MS Windows, MS Office, and local/network printing.

 * Support conference room A/V connectivity and office network (wired and wireless).
 * Perform IT operations functions such as information security audit research, vendor coordination, and asset management/inventory.
 * Image and configure computers for deployment.
 * Update and maintain team documentation, procedures, and knowledge base.
 * Utilize a ticketing system to document and track all work activities.
