Undertakes a client facing role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services for Control systems, equipment, facilities etc. (Several building types) * Develops designs and specifications for new build mechanical and electrical installations in many building types, in particular within complex technology-based buildings where close control and extensive monitoring systems are required. * Produce points lists for Control Systems * Generate Serial and IP based Controls Network Layout drawings and Schematic Architectures * Write Sequence of Operation documents from review of MEP designs and through discussion and agreement with design engineers. * Produce specifications from fresh where needed, software specification writing tools. * Leads review of Contractors engineering proposals for compliance with the design specifications and any relevant regulations. * Carry out condition surveys and reviews of existing installations. Produce reports and improvement plans. * Day to day decision making on project progress and direct liaison with and provides advice to client * Represents Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and Contractor teams. * Ensures engineering calculations and drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards * Specify and attend Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests and Integrated Systems Tests. * Specify and attend commissioning activities during construction and completion of projects * Leads on the coordination of engineering services
