## About the Role

* 3 to 5 years of experience administering or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
 * Hands-on experience with EDI setup, mapping and trading partner onboarding
 * Real interest in AI and automation, with hands-on experience using AI tools to solve business problems
 * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the discipline to find root causes
 * Ability to turn business requirements into practical technical solutions
 * Clear written and verbal communication, including thorough documentation habits
 * Highly organized, dependable and able to juggle competing priorities without dropping details
 * A self-starter with sound judgment and the confidence to make decisions

Top Skills :

 * Business Central experience, especially system support and optimization
 * Insight Works and/or Lanham EDI
 * Power BI, including report creation, analysis and recommendations
 * Experience building with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform or similar AI and automation tools

## Description

* Be the internal champion for AI at Cal-Mil, finding practical ways it can save time, cut errors and improve decisions across departments
 * Build and deploy internal AI tools, such as Copilot agents, AI-assisted workflows and API-driven automations
 * Find manual, repetitive or error-prone processes and design automated solutions to replace them
 * Help colleagues at all levels of technical comfort adopt new tools with confidence
 * Stay current on new AI and automation capabilities and recommend where they fit our business

Business Central Administration & Support

 * Act as the main internal administrator for Dynamics 365 Business Central, handling user setup, permission sets, security roles and environment management
 * Configure, support and optimize workflows and related system settings
 * Take on customization and configuration-level development, including page and report changes, extensions and Power Platform solutions
 * Work as the internal counterpart to our external Business Central partner: triage issues, scope projects and hold outside resources to timelines and quality
 * Create and maintain clear system documentation, configuration records and end-user training materials

EDI Management

 * Own our EDI operations end to end, including setup, mapping, monitoring and issue resolution
 * Lead new trading partner onboarding from spec review through mapping, testing and go-live
 * Keep existing partner maps up to date as specifications, document types and business needs change

Systems Development, Integration & Reporting

 * Be the company's go-to technical resource for system development requests and improvement ideas
 * Support integrations between Business Central, Dynamics 365 Sales and other connected systems
 * Use Power Automate, APIs and third-party integration platforms to connect systems and move data reliably
 * Build Power BI reports, analyze the results and turn them into clear recommendations for leadership
 * Partner with Finance and IT on reporting and data initiatives
