## About the Role

* Strong commercial Ruby and Ruby on Rails development experience, ideally on Rails 7 or later
 * Test-driven development with RSpec or Minitest (Capybara for feature tests)
 * PostgreSQL, ActiveRecord and data modelling, including migrations from legacy data sources
 * Building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrations
 * Server-rendered front ends with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (Hotwire / Stimulus a plus)
 * Accessible design to WCAG 2.2 AA; GOV.UK Design System experience highly desirable
 * CI/CD, Git and containerised deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) on AWS or Azure
 * Delivery in agile, multidisciplinary teams through discovery, alpha, beta and live phases
 * UK public sector / government digital delivery experience strongly preferred
 * Must be UK based with the right to work and able to pass BPSS checks
