Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior ETL & Data Migration Engineer to support a company focused on large-scale federal modernization, cloud transformation, and enterprise data migration initiatives. This position is on-site in Huntsville, AL . The Senior ETL & Data Migration Engineer will lead the design, optimization, and execution of enterprise-scale ETL pipelines supporting the migration of high-volume datasets from legacy environments into modern cloud platforms. This role serves as a senior technical contributor responsible for ensuring data quality, reliability, and operational success throughout complex migration efforts. Join a mission-driven team modernizing critical government systems and enabling next-generation cloud capabilities for federal customers., * Design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines supporting large-scale data migration efforts.

 * Lead data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration activities across structured and unstructured data sources.
 * Troubleshoot pipeline failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance and reliability improvements.
 * Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, DevSecOps teams, DBAs, and QA teams to support migration readiness and integration efforts.
 * Create and maintain technical documentation, migration reports, data maps, SOPs, and data quality metrics.
