## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
 * Experience with AWS, Azure, VMware, and Nutanix environments.
 * Experience with infrastructure automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and configuration management tools.
 * Familiarity with CIS benchmarks, Microsoft security baselines, and compliance-driven environments.
 * Relevant Microsoft, cloud, automation, or security certifications preferred.

## Description

This position is for a Senior Windows Platform & Automation Consultant who will be responsible for engineering, securing, and supporting enterprise Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and a strong understanding of AWS, Azure, VMware, and Nutanix environments., * Own the Windows Server platform lifecycle, including patching, OS upgrades, server builds, retirements, and vulnerability remediation.

 * Define, maintain, and continuously improve processes, standards, documentation, and operational runbooks.
 * Partner with system administrators to execute platform activities while maintaining overall process ownership and governance.
 * Drive automation, standardization, and operational efficiencies through PowerShell, Ansible, and other tooling.
 * Maintain Windows security baselines, Group Policy standards, and platform hardening practices.
 * Partner with Infrastructure and Security teams to improve platform reliability, security, compliance, and supportability.
 * Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that modernize the Windows platform and reduce technical debt.
 * Provide technical leadership and promote knowledge sharing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
