## About the Role

* Lifecycle Expertise: Strong background supporting systems engineering across the complete software development lifecycle.
 * Domain Knowledge: A solid understanding of, or direct experience working with, systems engineering throughout the Army Acquisition Life Cycle is considered a very strong plus.
 * Tool Proficiency:

 * Demonstrated hands-on experience with IBM DOORS (9.7.x) for active data and requirement management.
 * Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for requirements support is highly desired.

Interdisciplinary Analysis: Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and understand their cascading impacts on software testing, system safety, and cyber defense protocols.
Required Education: A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM, computer science, or computer engineering, etc.) is required. Advanced degree preferred.

Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.

## Description

* Systems Engineering & Analysis: Execute end-to-end systems engineering activities for Precision Fires programs, applying critical thinking to resolve complex, system-of-systems engineering challenges.
 * Requirements Management: Develop, analyze, and manage existing and new system requirements throughout the full software development lifecycle.
 * Hands-On DOORS Administration: Actively utilize IBM DOORS (9.7.x) to manage requirement data independently. This includes establishing traceability links, creating objects within modules, and exporting Requirement Verification Matrices (RVMs) without reliance on a dedicated DOORS administrator.
 * Agile Collaboration: Work dynamically within an Agile environment, attending regular scrum meetings and leveraging Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for requirement tracking and support.
 * Cross-Functional Integration: Assimilate and align system requirements with other critical functional areas, specifically Software Safety, Test, and Cybersecurity.
 * Technical Documentation: Author, review, and maintain accurate technical documentation and specifications.
