Do you have experience in T-SQL?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * BSc degree and 5+ years of experience in a similar role

 * Experience in the Microsoft data stack and working with business-focused analytics environments
 * Ownership mindset with analytical thinking to proactively improve data quality
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills
 * Fluent English (spoken and written)

## Description

Are you ready to build the data infrastructure that enables smarter decisions across a global organization? As our Analytics Engineer, you'll design Azure pipelines, craft semantic layers, and empower teams to discover insights independently, all while shaping the future of Ampelmann's data platform. Interested? Read more below and apply!, As an Analytics Engineer, you work in the space between data engineering and reporting. You maintain existing data structures, connect new data points and help shape datasets that support meaningful analysis. This role offers a great mix of hands-on work, business contact and room to grow as the data platform evolves. You will have the chance to influence the next phase of Ampelmann's data landscape while working closely with experienced colleagues and external partners. In this role, you will report temporarily to the Director Structural Change.

Regular Activities

 * Design, build and optimize ETL pipelines in Azure Synapse Analytics to ensure reliable, scalable data flows from multiple sources
 * Integrate internal and external data sources into a centralized data warehouse, handling complex transformations and data quality
 * Create and maintain dimensional data models and semantic layers for reporting and analysis
 * Develop and optimize self-service analytics and Power BI solutions that enable stakeholders across the business to discover insights independently
 * Partner with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical specifications
