This is a project manager position, working with the firm Principal and Associates to develop projects from concept to realization, collaborating with junior level staff, helping to direct design studies and production documents, sourcing furnishings and decorative elements, coordinating the work of consultants, and performing construction administration. Intermediate architects engage the entire range of the office's creative workflow through sketching, digital modeling, rendering, drafting, BIM, physical model making, and prototyping, but also take an active role in charting the design direction of projects and the care for and communication with clients. The ideal candidate is one with strong design skills and aesthetic sensibilities, strong interpersonal skills and values, and a creative point of view that is complementary to the practice. We are seeking someone with small firm experience, specifically with high end renovations and ground-up projects. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for art, interiors, and furniture, but who is also technically facile and eager to learn. The position offers many opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the work of the office and for professional advancement. Members of our team also regularly participate in Design Advocates projects and initiatives.
