## About the Role

Our financial client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting the development and maintenance of scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to collaboration, aligning successfully within a diverse and inclusive work environment.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
 * Implement microservices architectures to support scalable and efficient platform operations.
 * Develop and optimize REST API endpoints following best practices for security and performance.
 * Build and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and Workflows to streamline deployment processes.
 * Work with cloud platforms such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions to implement serverless solutions.

What's Needed?

 * Deep expertise in NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript development.
 * Hands-on experience with backend frameworks like Fastify or Express.
 * Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain microservices architectures.
 * Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions and Workflows.
 * Solid understanding of serverless architectures and cloud platforms such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
