## About the Role

* 10+ years of experience as a Electrical Engineer supporting complex electro-mechanical systems.
 * Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
 * Strong background in mechanical design principles such as tolerance analysis, materials behavior, and CAD modeling (ProE/SolidWorks preferred).
 * Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and engaging directly with OEM customers.
 * Familiarity with high-speed interconnect requirements including thermal considerations, mechanical alignment, and structural integrity.
 * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical findings to clients and internal teams.
 * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).

## Description

* Lead system-level mechanical design for next-generation high-speed cable backplane products, guiding programs from concept through production.
 * Act as the primary technical interface with OEM customers, driving engineering discussions, resolving complex issues, and ensuring alignment across teams.
 * Develop mechanical specifications, modeling packages, prototypes, and performance requirements that support thermal, structural, and high-speed signal needs.
 * Influence product direction by providing strategic insights, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and product teams.
