## About the Role

Identify root causes and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
Apply IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices for incident, change, and problem management. + **Database Support -** write complex SQL queries; troubleshoot extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines. + **Cloud Computing** - manage Linux virtual machines and a PostgreSQL database hosted on Microsoft Azure. + **Release Management** - oversee production changes affecting CIBC's SAS Viya AML platform, including bug fixes and version upgrades. + **Service Continuity** - perform disaster recovery tests. + **Collaboration** - build trusted working relationships with business stakeholders, technology partners, and external vendors. + **Communication** - express technical concepts to non-technical audiences with precision and clarity. + **Continuous Learning** - stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, changes in the banking industry, and regulatory developments. **Who You Are** + **You can demonstrate** a minimum of 1-2 years of technical experience within application
support in a bank.
Experience with Linux virtual machines and CLI, writing SQL queries, and a technical familiarity with cloud computing (preferably Azure) is preferred.
Experience with SAS Viya, along with relevant certifications, would also be an asset.
