## About the Role

 * 3+ years of software development experience.
 * Proficiency in C, C++, and/or C#.
 * Experience with software development tools, debugging, and version control systems (Git preferred).
 * Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with embedded systems and real-time software development.
 * Familiarity with CAN Bus, automotive communication protocols, or vehicle electronics.
 * Experience in defense, automotive, aerospace, or industrial vehicle industries.
 * Knowledge of Linux and Windows development environments.
 * Experience with model-based design and simulation tools.
 * Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and secure software development practices.
 * Understanding of military vehicle systems and defense industry standards.

Working conditions

## Description

IDV USA is seeking a Software Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and integration of software solutions for military and specialty vehicle platforms. The Software Engineer will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop embedded and application-level software, support system integration activities, and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements., * Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and embedded systems for vehicle platforms and related technologies.

 * Develop software requirements, architecture, and design documentation.
 * Participate in system integration, verification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
 * Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
 * Perform software debugging, performance analysis, and root cause investigations.
 * Develop and execute unit, integration, and system-level tests.
 * Support vehicle testing, field demonstrations, and customer evaluations as required.
 * Ensure software development activities comply with internal quality standards and customer requirements.
 * Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
 * Maintain configuration management and version control of software products.
 * Prepare technical reports, procedures, and documentation.
