## About the Role

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Python Developer for a contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week). Ideally, looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry and strong experience., * Advanced knowledge of Python

 * Creative, quick-thinking and an aptitude for solving problems with technology.
 * Extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.
 * Knowledge or various financial instruments Bonds, Interest rate swaps, Repo and FX products.
 * Understanding of generation of risk and P/L for above set of instruments.
 * Design and development experience in modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, Micro services.
 * Experience in Web UI (Angular, Spring) and CI/CD tools
 * Ability to work both independently and within a high functioning team environment.
 * Prior Capital Markets experience

## Description

* Candidate is expected to build out and support remote risk stack for various asset classes that Global Funding/CIO desk trade. Candidate will also work on building out analytics/pricing components needed for FAS133 hedge accounting platform. Drives and participates in design, development of application and work with multiple teams across bank.
